Windows 11 & Links 2003 problem

scan for hardware changes

latest driver is installed

Please choose enable device...afterwards go back into your task manager and verify it is there. Once you see it in the performance section of the task manager feel free to go fire up your links game.

all 6 boxes are in task manager
GPU 1 NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 0% (48 C) added somehow
No change when opening Links.
Graphic selection is still Intel (R) graphics
with all its problems as descripted before.

Click the windows flag and x, then choose device manager, double click display adaptors. This time right click on the Intel(R) uhd and choose disable. Go back into task manager and you should be back to 5 boxes with just the GPU 1. Try links again

done, except links still does not start. black dialog jumping around screen.

A laptop that won't allow the owner to change resolution...Yikes! I wouldn't own it.
You need someone more familiar of going into the registry and setting links to match whatever native resolution the laptop is set to. I just lowered my computer's resolution until i set links to my preference in graphic options then brought the computer back up.
I play links at 1280 x 1024 32 bit since i like the egg shaped swing meter.

You might want to start a new thread asking for the registry assistance.

I think I remember someone saying links may open up in safe mode and you can set the resolution you think might work and then try opening it up in regular mode.

I have not had to install links in awhile so forget all the tricks. Will find out this fall if I decide to get a new rig.
