Too weird

Postby GoesForIt on Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:26 pm

I'm obviously connected to lspn.net because I'm typing this. But Links won't let me send my last round and when I try to ping lspn.net, it times out... from both my computers.

I'm pretty sure the problem is at the lspn.net end. I was able to log on to start my round. I play offline so the problem didn't pop up until the end of my round.

I rebooted my router and all PCs and the problem persists.

Scorecard says I've abandoned. This is not true. I shot a 67, which still puts me in last place.
Maybe the webmaster could look at it.

Problem is definitely at lspn.net end. I've tried pinging not only through my wifi, but also my Verizon cell provider.

Somebody open a DOS window (cmd.exe) and ping lspn.net and see what you get?

I am not get right on the site as it says it is unsafe. Is this something on Marks end? Both my pc and laptop are having the same issue. Anyone else having this issue?

I have to keep going to advance to get by the problem just to get on. Even using different browser.

This is what I get:

This server could not prove that it is http://www.lspn.net; its security certificate expired in the last day. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection. Your computer's clock is currently set to Sunday, July 6, 2025. Does that look right? If not, you should correct your system's clock and then refresh this page.

I just got a big pop up thru Mozilla-Firefox that said this site can not be trusted.

I emailed Mark about this and he said that the Security certificate expired. He said it should be fine but he's out of town on vacation and won't be able to get to it until next week.

Sounds like there is going to be a problem in posting a round if you play one without that certificate.
