PLSA (two new guys in Champ) Yeah!

Bring more with you... PLEASE! And whoever you are, you're good, real good. I'll try to up my game to keep up.

I'll continue to try to make PLSA a fair test in keeping with the Pro Tour.

In the Fall wrap-around there are a lot of IRL courses not available in Links. Starting 2020, I think we'll get a lot more match up. I've already submitted the first ten tourneys of 2020 to Mark.

It's up to every member to have fun the way he or she fits with LSPN, but I hope there will be many Amateurs advancing to Pro, many Pros advancing to Champ, many Pros advancing to Champ (Challenging) and many Champs advancing to Elite.

I stay in Champ (Challenging) because my scores closely mimic the scores shot on the pro tour... which makes it realistic to me and I often play while watching the pros on TV. I'm working on Elite, but putting without the grid... almost impossible to read the break with 72 year old eyes... along with Windows/Screen resolution.

Yes it is , it's all you have to work with. One of the hardest parts in elite is not knowing if the approach to a green will land on an uphill or downhill lie.

I think we're pretty much all relics.

I know I am anyway.

I'm pretty sure this game isn't even on Steam and can only be bought from Mark. That said, there are one or two members from both here and Links Corner posting in a thread about the game somewhere on Steam, I noticed the other day.

A Facebook group was set up a while back as well:

Good luck GG. :D

I'm sure Doug will be pleased as well. ;)

I use to play Pro all the time, then had a few goes at Champ and couldn't get the hang of it at all. So I gave Elite a try and had quite a few goes of that and for some strange reason, was doing quite a bit better at that than I was at Champ, possibly because without being able to aim on the overhead view (although you can still see it) I was forced into thinking much more carefully about my shots and being a lot more conservative with my club selection.

Then after playing quite a few events at Elite I went back to Champ, did better at it than I did before and wouldn't want to go back to Pro. I'm still only an average Champ player I guess, but still enjoying it. :D

Rick the two leagues to join to play Champ Chall, both of which have well thought out and fair pin positions are:

European Tour, owned by Steve Sullivan.

The World Tour, owned by pmgolf.

Hope to see you there and again, good luck. :D

Membership activated. Enjoy :)

I will try and find time to set up some extra "Q School" rounds to help you get the rounds needed in to play the handicap event as well. May not be until the weekend

3 Q School events will be active from tomorrow, so you can play the handicap event quicker :)
