The game's native resolution is determined by the Registry entry "Display Mode", which is a number from 1-15, each matched to a certain resolution. I think "1" may be 800 x 600 (not positive). I do know that 1280 x 720 is "5", 1440 x 900 is "11" and 1680 x 1050 is "12". 14 is 1920 x 1080 (nominal HD screen res.). No matter what the desktop resolution is, when the game is launched, it will change it to what is in the registry.
The game is located in the same place on the new computer as it is on the old computer: E:\Links2003\ (on my laptops its in D:\Links2003).
The detailed error message I'm getting in the "Links has stopped working" frame points to a DLL being called by LinksMMIII.EXE, located in the "1033" folder (inside the main Links2003 folderr). Normally, that DLL isn't even in that folder, so I'm not sure the error message is valid.
I could shut down both computers, pull the ATI card out of the old system and put it in the new system and load the drivers for it, then try to run the program, but I'm going to hold off until I hear back from Nvidia.
