I've been able to play (no idea why), but for some, it looks like a Links pause until Mark updates the certificate.

DON'T WRITE THE HTTP://
JUST THE … WWW.LSPN.NET

It is working very well if you do it correctly

As ususal I dont understand stuff. I get on here with no problem, don't know anything about HTTP or whatever.
But trying to play a round all I do is load up the game...no problem. Click on online, click on the Links Tour , enter name and password so Im ready to select a tournament to play in.

Then when I do all that it wont let me get to the T anymore. It was fine for a few days when others were having problems but then on Monday I got the Links has stopped working message after 3 holes and havent been able to play a hole since.

Is this really saying there is something I should do when I load the game up rather than clicking on Online?

Just hope it gets sorted one day soon but it feels like Ive got quite a Links holiday in front of me.

1. Open the Windows Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Links 2003\LinksTour
3. Double click on the Server key and change the value from server.lspn.net to http://www.lspn.net ( you don't need the http:// start with www)
4. Close the Registry Editor
5. Start Links 2003 and you will be connected to the new server

Indeed, it is much better without the http://
thank you ;-)

Thanks but seeing I don’t know what the windows registry editor is I’m lost immediately .

Maybe I’ll find someone does to see if it would make things work.

Got my expert to follow this and the answer was “ that’s already how it is set up”

So still sadly unable to play a round. Unless I feel like playing practice rounds…which I don’t
