Problem course?

Postby ds3224 on Sat Feb 22, 2014 9:51 am

Hi guys,
Has anyone ever played a course called" Almouj" ? I play in the Jedi Academy League and that is the course at present. I tried it twice now, and most times when you get to the green, the cup doesn't show. Sometimes, on short putts, it does. Has anyone ever encountered that before. In 20 or so years, I haven't. LOL. Any idea's will be helpful.

Hi Rich,

The problem you are seeing is due to the level of the greens being moved lower than the original plot when the designer made the course, as far as I know.

Whilst there isn't a 'fix' for the problem, you may find that if you turn your player away from the hole by varying degrees, the hole in some cases may reappear. You can putt whilst turned away from the hole as long as you are using the marker to aim.

They ticked the 'box of death' when the course was laid out. Apparently there is no fix.

I have had that happen on a number of courses through the years. There was an easy fix. I created more hard drive space, once I deleted them.
