Designating new players as amateurs

Postby Al Gill on Sun Jan 07, 2007 2:55 pm

I've been trying to add amateur players but the game won't allow me to change the status of my new players away from PRO to amateur, regardless of the player profile I choose. Is there a way to accomplish what I want? Also, is there somewhere to download new players?

Al, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking for. However on another note I notice you have a space in your username, unfortunately the setup here prohibits you from playing if you have a space (could be part of the trouble you're having). Have a read of the below thread, and request a name change (to whatever you wish, Al_Gill, AlGill, etc)

Good luck

I'll take a stab at the first part of your question.

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to change the designated skill level of one of your players from Pro to Amateur.

Start the game and select Options
From the Options page, in the Miscellaneous column, select Players
    (1) Select Player you wish to change
    (2) Change the player's Skill Level from Pro to Amateur by selecting from the menu
The player's new skill level should then be displayed as Amateur
    (3) Click OK to save changes
