Issues connecting

I'm attempting to connect to Links games connecting wirelessly to a D-Link DI-624 router (with my computer in the DMZ), with ZoneAlarm running (as Windows' firewall seems to lock up DirectPlay on my machine).

For whatever reason, it appears to me that at the instant which I attempt to connect to another player, or another player attempts to connect to me, that my internet connection disconnects briefly, causing the connection to fail.

On this last attempt, however, I received ERROR : FAILED (0x887700f0 - DPERR_TIMEOUT) - ConnectEx().

Any help would be greatly appreciated at this point.

congratulations on the use of the di-624 and zonealarm. and not because the windows firewall causes crashes, but is woefully inadequate.
