Okay....I have a Linksys router. I opened the 3 ports from the port forwarding instructions, turned off firewall, set internet security to low.......I still can't play. Man, this is getting frustrating. Any tips/help would be greatly appreciated.

there might be a firewall you dont know about on your computer system.....firewalls can be...
software......in router...in modem.....part of your ISP service.

2 things I would check are that the Windows firewall is off.
Start--> run--> type control. find windows firewall and turn it off.

2 check to see if in the network properties you have a service called "Internet Gateway" if so un-install it by following these instructions
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821980/

Lots of ISP's are now blocking Port 80 and thats the same port Links 2k3 uses. This is the WWW port but they don't allow you to use it for anything but surfing the web.. Sounds wrong I know but I had this problem back with Zone games. My isp starting blocking port 80, It took my 2 weeks to figure it out.. I called them and they said YES!!

Seems this is the same port used a few years ago to infected lots of ISP's.. it was all over the news.. the name escapes me.. but thats what caused the ISP's to do it.

Call your isp and ask them.. Are you blocking port 80?
