Course Not Found

I have set up a tournament with 2 courses on the Arcade. One, The Bluffs at Ocean Point , when I go to start the tourney says a suitable course is not found. I have downloaded the course, installed it and still it will not recognize it. I have used the link provided by the tour for the course to download but still no luck. I am able to play in the othere tournamnets but not this one. Any ideas??

i suppose it's all a matter of semantics, but i don't consider a registry editor file as being an installer. the reg file, converted to an executable, is simply editing/adding a registry key. hardly installing anything. by installer, you could be talking about v1.05, v1.06, 2k1, 2k3, or augusta national.

i knew what you meant, just my little part to attempt to steer noobs to a universally understood nomenclature.

Tried to enter two tourneys...Links 2k4 Mayhem and received the message "Bluffs at Ocean Point not found"...also, RAW Open and it states "Culbreck Heath GC Ver2 not found". I have reinstalled the installer once. Maybe reinstall the reinstalled installer? I can open them both in practice and play mode, but on line play is a no no. Any other suggestions

i had that exact same problem with bluffs at ocean point, so that may be a server error. however, i could be completly (sic) wrong.

are you sure you have version 2 of culbeck heath, and have you redownloaded/reinstalled?

I have double checked to ensure the correct version and have even re downloaded the course and overwritten the crs file, but no luck. It is obviously something particular to my situation since I don't see anyone else complaining. I guess I really don't have to join these tourneys.
When you say possible server error on the Ocean Bluffs course, would it duplicate itself over a period of two days It's no biggie..have a day Mr. Fugate

ya got me. i know less than nothing about the internal workings of the tour server. dc used to intentionally post the wrong version of a course just to make life interesting. it could be a corrupted file, corrupted course, glitch with the game server, or a cosmic electromagnetic disturbance caused by the recent new moon.

when i couldn't get bluffs at ocean point to load, i simply bypassed the tournament, and went onto something else.

No stormie its not just you. I cant join the Raw tourneys in the LSPN offical events for the same reason. It says I dont have Culbeck Heath ver.2, but I do. I believe everyone has this problem because if you notice noone has joined any of the RAW tournies or the other tourney with Ocean Bluffs.

Just a note I on Spyglass,it is the 2k3 not the 2k1 version
