ie8 beta 2 available at betanews

there are a couple of buttons i hadn't seen on ie8b1, but to be honest, i've rarely even looked at ie for quite awhile. so i'm not in much of a position to critique ie. it appears ms is trying to catch up to opera and firefox, but opera runs through my veins after all this time. one of the reviews said ie8b2 is as fast as opera and firefox (personally, i think opera is lots faster than firefox 3 nightly (gran paradiso)), but color me very skeptical on that one.

give ie8 a try. it's definitely what ie should have been at least 5 years ago. you'd think with all that money to throw at developers, they'd be just a little more innovative.
