Hilfe in Deutsch? MatchMaker Problem

Postby luma1967 on Sun Oct 29, 2006 6:36 am

hallo zusammen,

hello luma
i have to answer in english , as my german is limited. i have read your post and understand your problem. your problem is........when you host in matchmaker everyone gets failed connections when they try to join. ......your firewall or router are blocking them from joining...

try this ..............C:\WINDOWS\system32\dplaysvr.exe.....allow this file as incoming on the exception list in your firewall. all ports...tcp/udp...all IP addresses

answer these questions..
-can you host with fire wall turned off?
-do you have a router

somwhere this file ( C:\WINDOWS\system32\dplaysvr.exe)is being blocked , you have to find out where.
to set up your router look here http://www.lspn.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=219

keep posting here in this thread until your problem is solved

I have a somewhat related issue. I have recently joined this group for which I am very happy. However, when I click on Match Maker, I get a message that says: "Internet Explorer cannot display this page." Is there something that I can do to rectify this?

Thanks for your assistance.

here's additional information mark posted with match maker help.

@mpare

are you allowing at least third party cookies? i'm using zonealarm software firewall, and had to allow private header information to be sent to display the match maker page.

been chatting with thc_joe5. he says you might try going into the windows firewall|exceptions, and adding explorer. sorry, i've never used the windows firewall, so i got no idea what that does.

If you use IE also try Tools>Internet Options>Security>Trusted Sites, add http://www.LSPN.net, then take the checkmark off "require https verification". You also may want to add this site under Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Settings>Address of Web Site to allow (I didn't have to, you may). Good luck.
