owntor's discussion about macs got me thinking about safari again. i tried it when the first window's version came out and didn't like it. i forget why. but i've been using 3.0.3 for a couple of days, and i seriously think i like it better than opera (i've been using opera since 4 something, and it cost $20 a pop)!
the main reason i've liked opera for all these years is it renders pages much faster than ie. i like firefox, but it gets to be a hassle sometimes keeping up with all the add-ons (tab mix plus particularly). especially fast is the lspn javascript leaderboard. opera seems to have to think about it for awhile when choosing a leaderboard, but safari pops up almost instantly.
the only downside i've found so far, is the flash gameday boxes:

won't scroll up and down when looking at the stats. clicking the arrows work fine, but i like to grab the scroll bar and scroll quickly (minor annoyance).
