Got a new pc , trying to install again and getting the message please sign in with administrator privileges!

What on earth does that mean, how do I do it?

The account I have set up on the new pc says I am the administrator ??????

That is an easy one Roy...right click the links icon and choose run as administrator. Give us the specs of your computer if you don't mind.

Hahaha as if I would know that! But I will ask and probably let you know tomorrow.

Seem to have got past the above administrator problem by ignoring it. Anyway the new mouse is a nightmare so far and I only have 6 courses LOL

Taken a while to set up a player and get the settings I am used to but maybe I’ve got much of it sorted. One of the courses I have I there for a tourney so I’ll probably have a go to make sure it works online and find out what else I’ve forgotten.

Get yourself a USB memory stick Roy, plug in your old computer and move your course file to it (You will be using right clicks again to do it) then plug it into the new computer and move it to links. Same for all your user generated links files. Save yourself a ton of time that way.

Thanks Echoes. I’m told we’ve found some old cd’s with courses downloaded so should be able to load quite a few ( not me of course)plus of course many are easily downloadable anyway.

Just played a round at Cambrian Ridge. Possibly the slowest round I can remember for an ammy round. One of the holes I was aiming at the wrong pin for 3 attempts so just as well I had 10 mullies but they did run out a bit early
Mouse overly sensitive so very hard to get used to it. Kept putting up a leaderboard after every hole. Can’t see how to stop that.
Couldn’t also work out how to have a green cam showing either which I was very used to.

Just shows all the years I was playing I was sort of on auto pilot doing what I was used to LOL . Spose I’ll get there eventually

Let’s see if this makes sense. I run Links MM 111 application as the Links launcher doesn’t work.

Running as administrator says the disk is not verified.

The system is MS Windows 11 Home
X64 based PC
16GB
1 TB storage

Seems just about everyone complains about the mouse on a new computer, but after a week or two it seems they have gotten used to it.

I think you’re right and I’m sure I will get used to it. Got a couple of other things sorted now as well so we’ll see how it works next week . Thanks for everything

Are you saying you have to enter the game by opening your program files(x86) then clicking on the Links MMIII file? You didn't get a desktop shortcut?

The system is MS Windows 11 Home
X64 based PC
16GB
1 TB storage

You can check your system specs in-game...options then the system specs tab at the bottom. speed of the processor (2nd line) and the video card (6th line) is what would pip interest.
