course won't load

Postby StanDaMan59 on Sat Jul 01, 2023 6:09 am

was playing my 2nd rnd. of this weeks Spey Valley pro handicap and got kicked out and now can't get any course to load. I rebooted and clean scanned my computer but only can get links to come on main screen menu but when trying to play it pauses and kicks out of links all together to windows computer main screen. when i load game up i tried quick start and it allows me to play on any course just not on regular play. any idea what it might be as never had issues playing before? Thanks

Try this. Remove the [your-player-name].PIN file from the /program Data/Links 2003/Players/ folder. The player name must match the one you were using. See if you can play then. You probably have a file that got corrupted in the crash.

I thought he had resolved it since he said it occurred in the 2nd round, and the scoreboard shows he has completed 3 rounds with a 2 stroke penalty.

Windows updates are always doing strange things to some of my older software. In those cases, change is not good.
