I know I'm late to the party, but have you tried a re-install of Links?

Have not tried a reinstall since Links plays perfectly offline. Maybe I will get my computer tech son to do that after we are able to get the virus vaccine working. I don't want to mess anything up. Maybe he can do it on Team Viewer. Thanks for the suggestion.

wish you luck with your sons help, would hate to see a long time linkster like yourself not be able to enjoy the tour anymore!

Try playing an online round using this player. Or create a new player called "Kunkleman(TP)" and use it. After the "Course Conditions" page, on the next page remove whatever player is listed, and add this player. Your player name doesn't have to match your login id.

I hope I'm understanding your issue, and I hope this works if I am.

And forget the re-install, at least for the time being.

Reinstall time. Probably corrupted a file
And your login Id doesn’t matter to your player name
I have 3 players named gibbya gibbyp and gibbyc but gibby only shows on scoreboard
Might want to PM Mark and remove 2nd login, not sure if he’s still doing it but use to run a sweep of those with multiple login with same email

Good to see your presence, Gib.
I'm thinking the player that is being used online is corrupt. May just need to replace that.

Re-install did the trick-----thanks to all who responded. Back on tour, perhaps with a slightly different name. :D
