Need help, win 10, Linkstour

Postby dick_burt on Wed Dec 09, 2020 6:29 pm

Finally left XP & had a built Win 10, everything loaded smooth. All the updates ran.
With nvidia card. (geforce gtx 1050 ti) Can play by myself, but when I go to Links Tour dialog,
& try to play a LSPN tourney it always comes up skill level novice, any, any & no tournaments show.
I can manually change novice to pro & all the tournament show up.
Moved all the pin files, courses, polyani, clubs, from XP to Win 10 so I can play.
Do I need to re-register? What do I need to do to play the Links Tour?
Can someone help.
Thanks

3 places to check your settings.
1) My account tab, check the user preferences section
2) open the game, click on options, then players. check the settings for the golfer you are using
3) check your event list options on the current events page

Thanks for your response..
I apparently have rectified the problem. After getting the tournaments to show by changing the novice to pro,
I picking a tournament & tried to play. It told me the player wasn't available.
Went back and copied all my polyani players L3 files from my old machine & pasted them into the correct location
on my win 10. A few other problems arouse but were quickly fixed.
I have played the 1st round of Buffalo Springs 2005 tournament.
Thanks again fro your help. Hopefully that's the end of the problems.
