Problems with Video for LINKS 2003 Champ Edition & WinXP

HI! I am running XP Home 2002 and I am trying to run LINKS 2003 Championship Edition, but it won't run properly (eg: me player gets cut in half or turned invisible and I am unable to see the Pin Flags????? I am running a Ninvidia Video Card

have you 1) updated your graphics drivers, 2) added your graphics adapter to the videocard.txt, and 3) does turning down the picture quality slider allow your ani to appear normally?

How do I add my graphics adapter and or turn down the picture quality. (Sorry new at this)
