You might want to try putting this video card data into your videocard.txt in Links2003 folder.

And/or you could force hardware rendering in the registry:

From memory .... open REGEDIT
navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
navigate to SOFTWARE
navigate to MICROSOFT
navigate to MICROSOFT GAMES
navigate to LINKS 2003
navigate to DISPLAY SETTINGS
change the HARDWARE RENDERING value from 0 to 1
(or is it change the SOFTWARE RENDERING value from 1 to 0?)

When you start Links, your video card should be "recognized" and all resolutions should be available (since you're applied the 1.07 patch/nVidia fix).

The video card itself, is recognized...ie. It tells me on opening that

3D Acceleration by NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080

It just doesn't present the HD resolutions to me when I choose Options......Graphics settings.
Inside Links, under options -> system info, I found vendor, and device ID's, and tried to add it to videocard.txt
Not sure exactly how or where it should go....I found the Nvidia section of the file and added the device ID into the file, but
it didn't change anything...

As for REGEDIT I looked.....there is no hardware setting....but there is a software setting that is currently set to 0
I didn't feel comfortable actually making any changes at that point.

DUH....!

I went back and re-applied the 1.07 Nvidia patch and all is fine now....
I had both the 1.07 patch, and the 1.07 Nvidia patch still in my downloads...
and I may have run the nvidia patch before I applied the 1.07 general upgrade..
Sorry for the errant post...and thx for response
