Hi there,

Anybody there to help me?? When I try to connect to the server to play games, I cannot login.
I updated my Links 2003 to version 1.05 and downloaded LSTour LSPN.

At the links game login screen click on "connection settings" and ensure that you are set to "Connect thru LAN or connect manually". Also ensure that the "Use proxy server" box is unchecked. If that doesn't work come on back there's other things to try. Good luck

About two inches below the "Connect thru LAN or connect manually" button

Ok ref the required update, that's referring to the "v1.05 update" that can be found in the downloads section here http://www.linkscountryclub.com/. I know you said you've already downloaded it but maybe something went wrong, try downloading it again.

I found out that there are different 1.05 updates, you don't mean the one with 205.1 MB???

There is only one called "v1.05 update". I'm afraid I don't know how big a download it is. Let us know.

Ok, so I went and looked the file size is 6.83 MB (the 205.1 MB one is for APCD 1.5, you don't want this). When you click the "v1.05 update" do you click run or save?

Ok so when you clicked "Run" your Install Wizard (I'm assuming you have XP) came up and asked you a bunch of question and then installed?

Well, as far as I remember, it wasn't a lot of questions but 7 or 8 times about overwriting files.

Ok, thats what it's supposed to do, next you've got to reinstall the Links 2003 Server Change from here http://www.lspn.net/testing/. So what happens now when you try to load up Links

I get so tired of trying; this will not get me any further Freefaller. Every time I try to connect, I get back to the Loggin point. I give up for the moment and like to thank you very very much for taking time to help me. Danke schon!!!
Schuss,
Ferry.
