got a new Nvidia GE Force graphics card. Apparently, that was my problem

So the first new video card, Best Buy put in your computer, was bad. It does happen.

I think him taking the monitor back in with his computer and letting them hook things up fixed things not an Nvidia malfunction

no, the only card was the one from BEST BUY and is working fine...

Still no useful information, but I am glad you, Best Buy, the "Man In The Moon", or whoever, got you up and running.

I don't know what you want. I got a new card installed at Best Buy and now all works well. Rich

I think you'll find that when he got it home the 1st time he plugged his monitor into the wrong Card, when he took it back to Best Buy the monitor was correctly installed to the new card, hence all is working correctly now..

that is correct and so easy....
