Links Sports.NET

I downloaded the game from Links Corner and it played ok. Now when I play it crashes everytime I go to the next hole. Any ideas? Rich

I noticed in the main chat area that you said you got updates from HP. I would take a guess here and say that HP updated your video card. Try to roll back to the video card you had last week or the last time it worked the way you wanted it to.

open your control panel, double click on device manager, then double click on display adapter, then double click on whatever video device showed up...this will open another box on your screen with 4 tabs at the top, the 2nd one says driver it will show you what driver the device is using and give you 5 options to pick from (driver details,update driver,roll back driver, disable, uninstall) pick the 3rd one.

roll back driver is grayed out...

Then your video drivers have not been updated recently

had a new nvidia geforce 710 video card installed at best buy. Seems to be fine when they showed me how it worked with their monitor. Brought it home and hooked it up to my monitor and the kind of stuff is happening in the gamel; no skies and it still crashes when changing holes. I don't see how it worked so well at Best Buy and they acts up when I get home...Rich

They tested Links on it, at Best Buy?

yes on their monitor after they installed the new nvideo geforce 710 card. when I go into the game and look at system it still shows my old intel graphics card not the new one. When i click the nvideo page on my PCit says ," you are not using a display attached to an nvidea GPU. Does that mean my new card isn't being used in the links game? I am going nuts over this. Rich

Did you plug your monitor into the new card or did you plug your monitor into where you always connected it before?

I do believe you are on the right track with that question. My guess is the same as what you are thinking. The monitor isn't plugged into the new card.

I plugged it into the new card and didn't display right because I plugged it into the old slot first. Hopeflully Best Buy will fix it tomorrow...Thanks for the help guys....Rich
