When down loading courses is there a way to recover the link to send them to links 2003 course folder?

I don't really think you want to do that because most of the courses you get -- and all of the courses from LinksCorner -- are zipped up and you have to unzip them before you can install them via Course Manager.
I send my downloads to my desktop and from there I manually open them and copy the .crz file to my course folder and then install them via Course Manager.

I open them right up and then just 'copy and paste' to the COURSES folder.

If you are putting them in the Links2003 course folder -- your slowing your system down. If you create a folder outside of Links2003 main folder -- and put your courses in it and then go to Course Manager in Links, and add them all that way and tell the program NO when it asks if you want to move it to the course folder -- you'll see a big difference when playing the game -- it will load much faster.

I assume (Not always a good thing) that you are talking about the .crz file. I, like most folks, have a separate folder for the downloaded files. I do not put them in the Links courses folder.

If I put all my crz. courses in a folder "outside" of the Links game, will Links recognize the courses even though they're not in the game itself? Couldn't you just drag the folder out of the game and onto the desktop? My game only takes 15-20 seconds to load up.

Usually the more courses you have in the games folder the longer the game takes to load. By moving your courses elsewhere you point course manager to it and the game goes there when needed. Then it uses the course from that location to play. I guess with W7 or 10 maybe it's loading faster with courses in the courses folder?

My Links will only take maybe 10 seconds to fire up. And I have a TON of courses.
