Windows 10 crashes

Postby smucko on Tue Oct 04, 2016 2:48 am

Purchased a new Dell computer with Windows 10 recently. Crashes are a pain. Was looking forward to upcoming Classic Tour winter tour but crashes will disqualify me. Really enjoy that tour during my winter layoff months. Any suggestions to correct this would be appreciated.

Reference WENTWORTH BETA:

SYSTEM CRASHED 3 TIMES IN 3 GAMES WITH NO USER FAULT. IT HAPPENED WHEN ALIGNING A PUT TWICE AND ONCE WHEN REPLAYING A PUT. I FINALLY GAVE UP WITH TOO MANY FALSE PENALITIES.

Grab your Windows XP or Windows 7 computer, fire it up, and enjoy playing the tournaments.

Do you use the green analyzer? If you do, don't.It has been an issue with this course for quite some time.

Window 10 is not the issue. I've been using it since March with no issues.

Same here Dave, after installing new graphics card (Intel onboard just wouldn't work). Went back to W7 due to printer issues, otherwise Links played fine with w10

I was able to get a Dell XPS with a Nvidia card. Overkill for Links but a sweet machine.

But back on point, I believe the Green Analyzer is the issue with Wentworth crashing. Alot of posts concerning that issue.

Some detail would be helpful.
Have you installed all the patches?
What video card do you have?
At what point is the game crashing?
Any course(s) in particular?

Thanks for the tip about crashes with the green analyzer and this particular course.
