Weekly Course and Conditions Poll

Postby gibby on Sun Jul 24, 2016 7:45 am

Going to try and start a weekly poll regarding the pins and conditions for Official Events Only.
Not sure how the poll will look yet, but if anyone has a issue we will need which event Flight/CLSC,PLSA or HCAP, which round and which hole, also challenging or 1.05 conditions. So this weeks PLSA 1st rd at Glen Abby was a little off at M/F so maybe M/S or M/M may work better. And the F/F in 1.05 could be slowed down also.
If needed I will retest rounds at different speeds b-4 passing info to Mark or David to fix.
Common sense and common courtesy two things this world needs more of.

I'll start
1st 3 rounds at Glen Abbey 1st rd change of speeds should work better, 2nd rd good pins with S/S, 3rd pins were somewhat as bad as 1st but worked with S/S. It's why 1st rd should be ok with different speeds.
1st 3 rds at Hapuna so far looks good.
1st 3 at Sawgrass all good except the Windy 1st, still can't play windy well!

I gave Glen Abbey an over-all good rating, since there wasn't a choice for mediocre. i found 6 pins in the 4 rounds that I thought were basically unplayable, 3 in the first round.

Why are all 4 rounds soft/medium?

Yeah, that was kind of odd. But that speed/hardness combination did make the course playable at 1.07.

No consensus on Glen Abbey, so I guess it stays the way it is.
