video problem

Things disappear when I start playing. player comes up for a second then goes away.Doesn't show distance to hole in upper left hand corner plus club selection only shows bits and many more oddities.I have a ATI RADEON HD 4250 worked well for years,went in device manager and it says everything is working properly.Yesterday I had to do a system reset to a date about 2 weeks ago, could this cause a video problem and after that I had to reinstall my 2003 links game.

try updating your video drivers, they have auto detect and install.

You have some setting for Links, in that card's settings, that is botching up Links. AA, or something else is set to the wrong setting. Check them out.

could be that your card updated to a newer driver and is acting up with Links, if you did a system restore back a couple weeks and it works now that's great. But it may update again, you'll need to look at the driver version and date it was installed.
