Graphics stuttering help please

Postby Chucktone on Tue Nov 10, 2015 2:26 pm

Hey all! Been awhile since I've played and have run across some stuttering/rendering issues. When in game it appears that a service/process starts running at random and causes stuttering in the swing meter as well as rendering delays. I can deal with the rendering delays (though it's a symptom of something wrong) but the stuttering swing meter is killing any chance at playing decent. I have a prog/app on board that streamlines the computer for online gaming and it has helped but very little. I have a new SSHD on order, replacing that because I have a general slow down in normal activities. I'm at a bit of a loss here as I can't catch the offending service/process while playing and looking at the monitors while the game is running doesn't show the spikes. I have all patches and mod fixes installed, outside of the stuttering the game is working fine. Here's my system info:

I know there are some great techies here and hopefully someone will be able to direct me to the fix. Appreciate any feedback!! Thanks in advance!

edit* rolled the video driver back to 341.81. The 341.92 driver caused all kinds of problems.

Hi Charlie,
Your AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
is 64 Bits ... Why did you install Windows 7 32 bits only ?

Your NVidia card is a very good one you should be able to install the best driver there is for a maximum performance.

There is also something wrong here : Page File: 1244MB used, 5410MB available

Used should be lower than 1244 and available should be higher than 5410 it should look like this :

Page File: 850MB used, 8280MB available

There could be some programme running in the back of your computer.

Antivirus ??? which one you got ?

How long your computer take to OPEN ??? Less than 30 seconds or more than 1 minute maybe more than 1min 30 sec ???

Do you have TeamViewer and Skype ???

Sen d me these info on : johnny911@videotron.ca

Good luck
