Missing the Aiming Marker

OK, sorry about all the post but I'm just looking for help. I ended up reformatting my laptop Windows 8 computer to the very beginning. Reloaded Links 2003 and all the courses. Everything was fine until yesterday when I came home. The computer decided to upgrade itself to Windows 8.1. I thought I had disabled that feature. Well I played a round at Harbinger and I did not have the aiming marker on my top view camera. I'm using 1024 x 768 resolution(I think). Do I need to maybe just change the resolution? If I get time at work today I will play with the resolution setters. I really don't want to reformat again. Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you.

click on the golf ball at the top of the top cam view, then click original settings

Recovered the computer back to windows 8 and reinstalled Links and everything is fine.
