How can I enlarge the swing gauge and the other gauges to the left of the golfer(slope,et.al.)?

shot options|swing options, check 'use large swing gauge'

everything else is a function of options|graphics settings|display mode

terrell,
I really did not want the largest gauge but that is irrelevant. The option doesn't light up. the other part in graphics in on fullscreen and 1280x 1064 and everything is too small to read.

the option doesn't light up? i've never heard of that before.

i can imagine. that's why i play at 800x600x32. there's no other way of displaying 1600x1200x32 and still enlarging all the meter stuff.

Jim, I play at 1024x768 using a Radeon 8500 video card, and everything is just right... for moi. I tried 1280x1064, and you are spot-on, everything is way too small for these 70 year old eyes.

By George T, Jim's right, the light doesn't light up in mine either, not that i need a larger swing meter. Just had to check for myself. Never ventured there before

I've put it on 1280 and the next one down and everything on the whole screen is way too small. I am 57 years old and my eyes are pretty good, even though I wear glasses, but the screen is way too small for me to see.

aha! digger posted the answer at links corner about why the 'use large swing meter' option appears grayed out or not available. it's only available in a couple of the lower res settings, e.g. 800x600, 1024x768. when 1280x1024 is selected, the option is grayed out.

Guess What? I did find the answer . In the graphics section, you don't change from 1280 to anything else. You simply click the default button to the right. That sets everything to the right size.

lol. marvelous. at least change the 16 bit color to 32 bit. if you're a longtime player, the grass may seem an odd shade.

all links 2003 are created the same. linksters are not created the same. it's not important. warren is playing with a magnifying glass or 42 in monitor. the 1600x1200x16 and 1600x1200x32 are not for us poor people still using 14 inch b/w monitors. choose the 1024x768x32, click 'use large swing meter', and enjoy.

LOL! T, I am still using my 8-9yr old 19" Viewsonic G790. I have my Links graphics set at 1024x768x32bit, and I use both swing meters: the large ones for inside 10', and the standard (smaller one) for the over 10'.
