Windows 11 & Links 2003 problem

Windows 11 & Links 2003 problem
My Windows 11 specs:
Windows 11 home
Version 21H2
OS 22000.2538
16 RAM
PROCESSOR: 11TH GEN INTEL(R) CORE (TM) i5-11400h@2.70hz 2.69 ghz
SYSTEM: 64 BIT OPERATING SYSTEM X64-BASED PROCESSOR
Graphics card: NVIDIA Ge Force RTX 3050 Laptop GPV
All the Links updates have installed & run.

My problem: I have loaded Links 2003 via disk 1&2
Links 2003 recognizes Intel® UHD GRAPHICS
All kinds of graphics happen until “rendering” freezes program
In device manager there are 2 display adapters
Intel (R) UHD graphics
NVIDIA Ge Force RTX 3050 Laptop GPV

Question:
What can I do to have Links 2003 recognize the above NVIDIA graphics
The NVIDIA card is not listed in Links 2003 options
When I double click the Intel (R) UHD graphics properties in device manager, driver,
There is a pick to “disable device”
Will this action make the NVIDIA Adapter the primary adapter in Links 2003?
Do I need to do anything else.
Need any more info for help?
Thanks for any help

This is from an earlier post:

I think the only other solution is to upgrade your video card, but Installing the Voodoo Direct X Wrapper worked well for me.

I've been using this software for several years now and it's the only way I can play Links on my Windows 10 laptop with onboard graphics. Everything works perfectly. The only minor issue is some very tiny artifacts that show up on my swing meter but doesn't affect the swing at all.

You probably have two video outputs on the back of your pc, one for on-board video and one from the video card. Make sure your video cable is plugged into the video card.

Go into your device managers and removes the UHD Graphic Card …

Very simple

went through your article. got all the way to:
system, display, graphics, added the ls2003 app (Linkslauncher.exe) and made gpu preference selection.
there is no "option" button shown
I can't select "graphic preference & save"
because of this same problem exists when opening ls2003
Thanks, options?
help?

Then it is time to force it to change. open the device manager bring up the UHD in display and click on driver then click the disable device. Your display should blink for a second and come back up via your RTX 3050. If you get a blackscreen, restarting will restart the UHD display and it is time to install some new drivers on that Ge Force and or figure out what is going on with it. If it works then the next time you restart go back into your device manager and uninstall the UHD.

For the record it is not my article.

Followed all your instructions.
disabled intel driver adapter.
had up to date drivers for the rtx 3050 adapter
it looks like links2003 didn't recognize the rtx 3050 adapter.
graphic anomalies happened starting links2003 & had to shut it down.
Now what?

Explain the 4th and 5th line a little better please, with the UHD disabled, if you see anything on your laptop besides a black screen the video card is working, if you restarted your computer, windows enabled the UHD at start up and your probably viewing via the UHD again which can be checked via the device manager.
When your viewing your laptop via the rtx, i suggest lowering your resolution to 1024x768 before starting links until you get the bugs worked out. When you start links, if it don't start please explain what happens a little better than "graphic anomalies happened starting links2003 & had to shut it down"

when GeForce drivers used, links2003 opens to main menu. pick play golf, new round, pick play round,
pick course (kauri cliffs) pick next, pick player, pick begin play, 'rendering' screen moves about screen.
error dialog opens, more details, exit buttons. lilnks2003 never opens.
line 4: get inside links2003 options, graphic settings intel(r) UHD is only device to select.
line 5: when I 'able' intel(r) UHD driver & start links2003 black dialogs move around screen, links2003 never opens.
thanks for your patience.
i think i'm near the end of the road.

The patience is on your end Mr.Burt. I'm just trying to help you play golf amigo. There are still some things i can't wrap my head around. Let's forget about links for a minute.

right click on a vacant section of your taskbar( blue section at the bottom of the screen with the icons) 2 options appear; Task manager and taskbar settings. Please click on the task manager and a box will appear, on the left please click on performance.

Now you see your cpu, then memory, then the disk which is harddrive usage, the ethernet comes 4th which shows data sent and received, the part where my curiosity is raised comes last... GPU....how many do you see and if more than one which is showing activity.
