Windows XP Problem

I just got a new computer with Windows XP and I CANNOT load Links 2003 on the computer. It locks up or says unable to load. I have tried changing the Capatability Settings and nothing seems to work!!!!!!!! PLEASE, I NEED SOME HELP!!!!!!

try installing after booting to windows safe mode. you could also have a corrupted links installation file. do you have the cd, or did you download? there's no reason to have to run links in compatibility mode.

I have a CD, it does not have XP for a operating mode to use, it has 98/Me, 2000 and NT for a compatability mode...but not Xp.

doesn't matter. links 2003 works just fine on xp.

the only restriction you might have is if you're using a laptop with an integrated intel graphics processor. though sometimes that can be overcome with an accelerator, driver, or turning down the graphics within links. if you have a desktop, just about any graphics card with at least 32 mb should work.
