Augusta 2006

Postby owntor on Sat Jan 27, 2007 11:15 am

Hello, I see a couple tournaments for 2001 which use Augusta 2006. I also see there are a few players who have completed the events.

I DL'ed Augusta 2006 and hooked it up to 2001. The course name is listed as "Unknown." I also cannot get it to load to play 2001 events. :x

Any ideas? :?:

I don't play 2001 any more, but I do know that there is a 2001 version of Augusta available here. Is that the version you downloaded or did you d/l the 2K3 version?

I must have dl'd the 2003 version.

So will the Augusta 2001 V2.0 work when Augusta 2006 is set as the tournament course?

Good question. The course listed in the dropdown menu for 2K1 tournaments in the arcade is Augusta 2006. As you've stated, some in this 2K1 tourney have managed to play their round at Augusta. Why not give this AN2001 v2.0 a shot and see what happens? Check back and let us know. You've got me curious now.

i went to tall timbers 2 out of curiosity to see about augusta.

the first round, which calls for aug.2006, sent me to troon north.

this is probably why some people can play.

I think this was a temporary (or accidental) fix since there are no separate course lists for creating tournaments for v2001 and v2003.

that would explain why I received an error message that troon north could not be found...
