Hi to you all,
I have been away from playing this game for almost 5 years now, and it seems even harder to obtain games or courses ( i lost over 500) i would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction or even the team sites if there is any still going, i played for WW,TS,THC TA GTO to name but a few. I would like to reknidle some friendships and make some new ones,

You can also go to http://www.gameranger.com -- download and install this small program and then you will find a lot of people -- even some from the "good old days" playing Links2003, both regular and challenging conditions. Also you will be able to join one of the ladders that Game Ranger uses.

The Zone has been dead for years, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

This site isn't the Zone, but it is a hundred fold better.

I finally this weekend went to the gameranger lobby and played a couple games with strangers. First one was an alt shot affair and I got accused of being someone who changed his name just because I said i had played this game for 13 years and was playing too well, i.e. I must be cheating yanno!...lol or maybe I'm Lacers in a comeback. Yes, my name sounds like an alias but it truly is my name. Second one was a nine hole "funner" but I guess my match ended too quick at 4 up and wasn't that fun as he left quite abruptly. The most irritating thing is joining a room and then getting "kicked" out while waiting to start. Is there some sort of etiquette you must follow? All in all too much like the Zone days with cliques, clubs and ladders where folks dodge the good players. I will try again soon with better results I hope.

Joe, let me know (PM, email, whatever) when you're headed back to GR. Maybe we can play online that way. I know we had trouble via direct connect, but I was able to play via GR. I'd love to give it another shot sometime.
