Just so you guys know, the Game Lobby is going to be the red-headed step child for a little while - but for good reason. After I get the v1.07 patch done and add a couple new features to the tour, I'm going to make an all new Game Lobby that will be faster and easier to use. A question about this though, would you rather have a web based one as it is now, or an application that you download which would be similar to a IM messaging application?

I would love to hear feedback as to how you guys would want a new Game Lobby to work. And don't say 'just like the zone' because to be honest, I never used it.

My guess is web based would work best. Improving ways to communicate within the lobby are needed , like instant messinging with options to turn off or block peeps if needed. Having the message pop up on there screen gets there attetion bettter than hoping they read the main chat .
Also some how letting us know who is waiting in a room , besides jumping in to take a quick look.

Anyways things are looking good .

The web-based seems fine here-
IF it isn't too much trouble...perhaps some kind of "indicator" to let ppl know if the game room is playing 1.05 or MOD-I presume this'll be MOOT with the coming 1.07-If so kindly disregard-
It's been workin' pretty smooth since the changeover - Oh yeah almost forgot- I echo the Pappy sentiments in his thread about "ghosts" remaining long after they've left the lobby as well...What a GREAT thing to keep this meeting place Mr. Hulka-Keeps one busy and entertained after banging out some Tour rounds- Tee why!

Web based for sure Mark. Again, and I dont think I can say it enough, thank ya thank ya thank ya for all the hard work and time you put into this for us. We certainly enjoy it.

Yes, web based is the way to go.
Remove people if inactive after 10 minutes.
Password access rooms.
Remove vent list if you need more room.
Ability to boot people from game room.
Multiple whisper/invite mode.
Ability to change room name after creation.
And the most important, a "Fix Snap" button

You don't have to keep trying to figure it out, then. The site is still a work in progress. The Zone was fun, a number of years ago. It would be nice if the Lobby could emulate the Zone, but it isn't real high on my must have list.

I've got an idea, let's go back to the good old mplayer days, lol.

Presently , one cannot chat to the lobby while one is in a game that is waiting to start for lack of players. Please arrange it
so you can "drum up" players in the lobby while one is waiting for opponents or partners.

Hi Leads- You can always "whisper" to select individuals whilst waiting inside a room to anyone in the lobby...just in case ya didn't know-
