New Team Tour to replace FFA closing down on Dec 9th

With the recent news of the FFA Tour closing its doors on Dec 9th. I have
been asking around to decide if it would be in the best interest of the game
to re-start the old LOGO tour format but under a different name since the
LOGO tour was developed by Rich from the RR team. I have talked to Steven
Reynolds who created the coding for the LOGO tour and he will be willing to
create the coding and the new look for the new tour. I have agreed to pay
him to sponsor the 1st year of the tour to get it going and we will see what
we can gather to help sponsor the tour from other participants. This new
tour would have the very same feel as the FFA and OGT tours do now but will
have a little more freedom of how to play the game as far as ways to play
matches i.e.: 3 way Singles (FP Allowed) or the use of custom MOPS as long
as agreed between all players. The tour will also have a Team MAXIMUM of
players and no MINIMUM( The number for MAX players not set yet and will be
more than likely a number like 15) Large teams can split their rosters up to
form 2 or 3 smaller teams. I think this will help in getting the
participation up since there are teams with way too many players on the
tours. I am open to suggestions and hope all of you that have participated
on the FFA Tour for all these years take this offer and give the new tour a

Please sign your teams up so that players can be added to your roster.
Start date will be Dec. 1st, 2007. The tour will be ran by its
members and not by any individual member or team. Rules will be voted on
by each captain ofeach team. A majority vote will change any set rules set
out at the start ofthe tour. Rule changes afte rthe end of the 1st tour will
take a unanimous vote of all captains.

I am not ready to put this game to rest and hope we can all keep the game
going strong with a new concept for a Team Tour format. Please keep an open
mind to this idea and remember that this is an honest try to help our
community stay together.
