Well I haven't been around for 2 months or more and just got back from a gr8 holiday in Oz so thought I would look in on things. Happy New Year evrybody.

Any date set for the "new " tour to take off ? No doubt it is there in one of the other threads but I couldn't see anything from a brief look.

Last I heard was an early Jan, start, but here we are without official word eh. Was just an estimate though.

So, did you get hassled about the brooming by the aus lads?

I got plenty of stick as expected and well deserved too after that shocking performance but it was a great holiday all round. And that's even with the poor weather ( by Aus standards anyway) which followed us around. Xmas day was cold wet and windy ( 14 degrees at best) and we even had hailstone and on Boxing day at the cricket i wore six layers of clothing and was still freezing :) At least we brought some much needed rain.
Yes Ole I managed to get together with quite a few of the 2XT crew which was great fun. It would have been fun to meet more people Ron but we had such a crazy schedule it wouldnt have been easy.

Roy,

HN and good to hear from you. We hope to see you on the leaderboards when the new season starts. Remember, no chipping on the greens this year. :P Ooops, that wasn't you. :? I got you mixed up with some of the other top 20 or so to beat this year. I'm sure Mark or David is going to post some news on the new season any time/day now. :!:

Welcome back Roy. Mark has been busy getting things ready for the LSPN official launch. Marks still have a ways to go but its getting close. Read his information sharing post for Dec 23 at this link. http://www.lspn.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=819 This should give you a decent idea of whats going to happen shortly.

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Oz and had an opportunity to meet some of the Auzzie Linksters. Bet that was fun.

Good to have you back Roy.

Roy,

I just came back to Links at the beginning of the year after about 1 year away from it, and who do I see on the leaderboard of my first tourney back? Who else? You truly are a fixture in the world of Links. It's nice to see you're still swingin' my friend. Just thot I'd say hello, and maybe we can chat again real soon. Glad to hear you had a nice vacation down under. Ttys.
