Every time new people join the forum and play the game, or when people return to the game from an absence or have to reinstall for whatever reason, there is often a post about where to get the patches. So, I put together the following list of patches to help people in those situations:

v1.02 patch: ** UPDATED May 4, 2013 **
http://linkscorner.org/files/patches/Li ... tch102.zip (direct download from Linkscorner.org)
After downloading from link above, unzip and then double-click the EXE file to install.
*** UPDATE April 21, 2015: If you installed the game from a downloaded version, you do not need this patch! ****

v1.05 patch: ** UPDATED May 4, 2013 **
http://www.linkscountryclub.com/LinksCC ... e_page.htm
After downloading from link above, double-click the EXE file to install.
*** UPDATE April 21, 2015: If you installed the game from a downloaded version, you do not need this patch! ****

v1.07 Mod: ** UPDATED May 4, 2013 **
http://www.linkscountryclub.com/links-2003-v107
or
http://linkscorner.org/files/patches/Links_107.zip *** Updated August 18, 2017 ***
After downloading from link above, unzip and then double-click the EXE file to install.

Win7/nVidia Crash Fix (also for ATI cards, Win8, 8.1 and Win 10):
http://www.lspn.net/downloads/Links2k3_ ... _FINAL.exe
After downloading from link above, double-click the file to install.

Career Mode Fix (for Career Mode crashes under v1.07):
http://www.lspn.net/downloads/virttour.dll
After downloading from link above, copy the file into your main installation directory and overwrite the existing file.
You may need to copy this file using administrative privileges. *** Added April 21, 2015 ***

LSPN Server switch for the LSPN Tour (included with v1.07 Mod):
http://lspn.net/server_switch/LSPN_MAIN_L2K3.exe
After downloading from link above, double-click the file to install.
You may need to run this file using administrative privileges. *** Added April 21, 2015 ***

LSPN View Conditions Crash Fix for the LSPN Tour:
http://www.lspn.net/downloads/LSPN_CRASH_FIX.exe
After downloading from link above, double-click the file to install.
You may need to run this file using administrative privileges. *** Added April 21, 2015 ***

** ADDED June 8, 2014 **
KISS Stableford+ Tour MOP Total Fix for KISS Stableford Tour (for v1.07):
FORUM: http://www.kisstours.org/phpBB3/viewtop ... =29&t=3925 *** Updated August 18, 2017 ***
ZIP File: http://www.kisstours.org/downloads/2011 ... leford.zip *** Added August 18, 2017 ***
Read the forum thread above, but essentially download the ZIP file and unzip the contents into your main Links 2003 installation directory. Over-write the existing files.
You may need to copy this file using administrative privileges. *** Added April 21, 2015 ***

Pro Distance Mod, v2.02 (only applies to Click swing type; not widely used):
http://linksassistant.no-ip.info/prodistance.htm
Refer to the above website for the download link and information regarding this mod. As with all Links versions, if you want to play online, you need to have the same version as your partners/opponents.
If you find MOP DLL errors when starting Links, chances are the Pro Distance mod has not been installed properly.

very nice Armand! Maybe now we can get BruceBo to copy it and add as sticky.
Then the next debate
2 ways of doing it: Install 1.02/1.05 then 1.07 then the nvidia & conditions fixes or 1.07 then nvidia/conditions since 1.02/1.05 is supposed to be in 1.07.
I've done it both ways and works, only time I had problem was with old Intel card and needed 1.02 for sound issuse.

Links to 1.02/1.05/1.07 patches from Links Corner are no longer valid.

1.07 patch can be found at the Links Country Club.

You haven't really given us anything to go on, but here are a couple of thoughts that might help .....

1. Make sure your download is the actual EXE file and not a shortcut, weblink, URL, or anything else.
2. Make sure that you "point" the patch to the correct directory when you install it. That is, make sure the path that comes up when you run it is where your Links 2003 is installed. The default that pops up should be correct, but it's always good to check.
3. You may need to run the patch with administrative privileges so the patch can actually update files in the C:\Program Files directory. I don't think this is required, but it's possible.

If these don't help, then we need much more specific information on the error message you are seeing:
What does the error message say?
When does the message pop up at you?

If the above tips do help, please post back as to what sorted out your issue.
