Need some help

My turn to need some help. Just bought this computer. Get "you need internet explore 5.0 or higher" message when I try to connect to the beta tour. According to "winver", I have v5.1

Any idea's?

Jeff,

I'm not sure why you wouldn't have IE6.0 on a new computer (or is the computer only "new to you"?). Regardless, I think you can download version 6.1 from this link:

The Beta for IE7 is also available, but it seems to have some issues with APCD-Courses.com (not sure about this site).

As an alternative, you could try an alternate browser, such as Firefox ( http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ ) or Opera ( http://www.opera.com/ ). There are others as well, if you decide to veer away from IE.

Firefox is a great browser, in my opinion.

Now for a question ...

Why does this board censor the word " M I C R O S O F T "?

soundz like a corrupted v1.05 download to me, sarge. redownload the v1.05 update and you should not get the error any longer.

Thanks you all. Terrel was spot on. After a lot of frustration and a few choice words, I went back and re-downloaded v1.05 and poof! it worked just fine. Now to learn to golf on this
