9 hole "completed" round?

Postby Baritone on Fri Nov 24, 2006 7:09 am

Just finished the 9th at Bay Hill in the 3rd round of Blazerman's Year End, when I got the end of round stat screen and it gave me the completed screen. I can go on and play the 4th round at Oakland Hills (it will allow me to do that), but when you pull up the leaderboard, it shows me as only 9 holes through round 3........

Anybody have a similar story?

I like the idea of single-round 9-holers (or even a 4-round 9-hole tournament) but it seems odd to insert a single 9-hole round into what would otherwise be a traditional 72-hole tournament. I wonder if this was deliberate. :?:

it's pretty easy to overlook a typo on one of those drop-down menus when programing each of four rounds unless you go back and double check all of your choices before hitting create. once you plunk the magic twanger you're stuck with the choices--there's no edit feature. there's probably been a lot more of these typos than have been commented on. lw

Larry's spot on. Did it myself, though mine had to do with gimmee range and not holes to be played. As for a 63 hole tournament... why not? If you didn't look at the tournament before hand, then the surprise is on you. Plus, I would think the lack of those nine holes only serve to add to the need to play your best game if you are looking to climb the leaderboard.
