Can't finish tournament

Postby RoyHiggi on Fri Nov 10, 2006 4:20 am

I played 3 rounds of the champ tourney at Torrey Pines yesterday , wanted to play round 4 but didnt have time. Come to play round 4 today and the course isn't recognised! What's that all about!!!
The course is still there in the course manager so ............. Just what I need to make me believe I should keep playing Links :(

Torrey must be the course I have had longest and from memory I exited quite normally. Sure as hell don't want to delete it from my courses list as its one you can't dload without paying which ain't going to happen.
Is this likley to happen more and more?

Sort of T. Very frustrating stuff though. I am trying to keep going here while the new tour gets going but it can get difficult maintaining enthusiasm.

i know this is like bennie hill explaining the theory of relativity to einstein, but have patience. mark's done some pretty incredible stuff behind the scenes. it would seem to me you've played at such a high level for so long, you wouldn't mind a breather. relax, enjoy, mark will get it done.

Roy:
Forgive me for finding you post somewhat funny.
But it really seems out of character for you :o
Maybe a wee nip from the corner bar might help.
But, on a serious note hope you do get to finish.

Roy, you made me play my last 3 rds there at one time to make sure I finished and I never play 3 rds in a row. :P My swing falls apart. One needs to make sure the pins are different for every round thou as some holes you played the same pin all 4 rds. :( I did on the last rd get an ace by playing the same pin. :)

Roy:

I had same thing happen on a PRO event I went to play yesterday, whereby it did not recognize (2) courses I have installed. Luckily, it did so before I was able to enter. I have had a problem today with another issue. I shoot -10 on the game and it posts a -9 on leaderboard. That was PRO event. Then I play a CHAMP event and shoot -2 and it scores me a 0 on leaderboard.

Can't the "new" links add or is this a new twist whereby every round played you get penalized 1 stroke? I also am very frustrated with this "new" links deal. Give us the old one back.
