Hey Chris,
I'll be there. I haven't played in awhile, and it sounds like a good place to shake off the rust:!:

great job. whack 'n' hack looks like it's going to be one of my favorites. i won't be playing anything else with 'short', as in ladies tees, in the title.

Looks good. I'll keep bringing up the rear...but this is my first full month of concentrating on CHAMP and still some PRO events. CHAMP is providing a much better challenge and am enjoying the game more again!!

Ugh...had bad first game, so requal...shooting -7 after 14 and my computer decides to do an update in middle of swing. No big deal on ammy, but needless to say hooked her off the course and never recovered. Will have to sit this one out and wait for Wack 4. LOL.

at least we know the requalifier works :D

im asking the players that play this style of tourney.....what do you prefer 1,2,3 or more requalifers and how many stroke penaltys per requalifier?

turn off all those updates, do them manually.

Personally, my preference is to simply take the bad with the good and play on. I want to finish my 4 rounds and move on to the next tourney. I don't want to stop mid-round and start over. It's not that important to me.
That being said, I have no problem with multiple reQ's being made available as long as there is a significant price to pay. (2, 4, 6 strokes, for example).

Nice tourney Chris ... some good tough courses in this one. I feel fortunate to have been able to shrug off 3 doubles to finish Schloss at even par.

I agree with KC. Requals should be avail, with a price, for the crash, update etc. I take more bad than good unfortunately--dead last two weeks running. I love this tourney though, I find myself having to think about the shots more. Keep it up.

Help! I can't get the tourney to let me play because it says I don't have a compatible course for Slainte Mhath. I have a Slainte Mhath that I think is the right one, the original slainthmhath.crz Any ideas? I even redownloaded it from Linkscorner, but no luck.

if'n you're sure you have the correct version of a course, but the game server is still saying you don't have a compatible course, there are a few things you can try:

1) if you have 3 versions of a course, move all but the one being used in a tournament out of the courses directory.

2) if your courses are in a directory other than 'courses' (i use course2k3 to speed up loading of the game), move the course being used in a tournament to the courses directory.

3) goto course manager and re-add all your courses, choose to overwrite all courses (but don't move them to the courses directory if you have them somewhere else).

4) delete the course.dat file, and let links rebuild it the next time you start links.

edit: as always, i forget the super obvious stuff:

5) for apcd courses, delete the course in your courses directory (whatever courses directory you may be using), redownload/reinstall.

6) for ms legacy courses, download the individual converter from linkscountryclub (links corner may have them also), and reconvert the original crx.
