Links Corner doesn't have this course for download. Has anyone been able to get into the tplayersclub.com site to download it? Thanx :?: :?: :?:

Is this course posted somewhere else at no charge or is one of the courses only available by purchasing it?

I agree 100%!! I also think it's absolutely ridiculous that there are individuals who want to play Links Golf on a well maintained site, have designers spend months on courses, and then have sites provide servers for down-loading courses all for FREE. :x

Nope, there is this course and a few others that will cost you. There was a discussion about it a month or two ago, most didn't seem to care much as a pay course here and there wouldn't ruin that many tourneys

I certainly didn't have a problem making a donation to LSN, but I don't want to feel any pressure to buy a course I really don't want. Still love LSN; I'll just miss a few tournaments.

The argument I've seem made here ..... is the course is free. Its simply offered exclusively to members, in this case, of the tpc community.

I'm just not sure its appropriate that such course's should be made a part of the Official LSPN Tourament rotation. I see no problem with such course's being available for Arcade events.

IMO It's one thing to join a free site such as file planet to download free course's and yet another to be required to pay a fee to a site to download an exclusive members only free course/'s.

Also its the Designers choice on how to offer his or her course and I'm fine that with too. Be it free, exclusive, or for a fee.

IMO those course's offered as exclusive free to memers of othe organizations or tours is in effect a means of blackmail  and should not be on the official LSPN Tour rotation. That my opinion, agree with it or disagree with it ... thats fine. I won't change my mind.

My opion is with Dennis. I've bought all of Mike Jones's courses from his site. I don't mind paying for courses. I just won't join a site just to get a so called "free" course. Put it out for sale somewheres like this site and I'll buy it if I want it. If the owner then wants to give my money to some site then that's his choice but don't make it my choice. I think they will get more $$$ for some site that way.

One could always e-mail directly to the designer and ask if a paypal transfer could be sent to him/her, or a check (personal, cashiers, etc), or even cash, rather than go through the site(s) in question. Who knows how a polite request may be received until it is made.

It never hurts to ask. 8)

Freefaller I can agree with most of your comments. However I feel that the key comment was the one about ruining tourneys. Just my humble opinion.
