Yikes! Tough to understand how that could happen, but it has happened to other tour players in the past.

Boo Weekly put down a four instead of a five at the 17th for Sergio.Boo's response afterwards was"it was my fault for putting down a four but it was his mistake for not checking it".If i was playing with Boo I would check my card at least five times to make sure it was right.Great golfer but not the brightest guy.

Heck Sergio knew that no one could or would beat Tiger, so he just let the score card error go, knowing he would be DQ'd and be able to escape the heat.  :P

What a great day for the Woody Austin fans (all 3 of us). A triumph for everyman, a former bank teller who taught himself to play golf. Now if only I could win a flighted tourney..........

Tiger is simply amazing, but Woody Austin sure had a great run at it!

was surprised here at how well Woody stood up to the pressure and kept the heat on Tiger.......well done!

BUT low and behold  why oh why in a challenging situation like that, did Woody kick up a clump of turf and place his ball on it on the 18th tee and then hit a shocker :?

did he run outa tees ??.........he coulda borrowed one from his playing partner ! or even hunt around for one in the rough adjacent to the 18th tee..........just like we mere mortals do ona sunny sundee fourball.

yeah Tiger is hellbent on wanting to better Jack's 18 majors Bruce.....he WILL do it eventually. but what i'd like to see happen is for Tiger to get to the 18 majors and then retire.......share the record with the great man. a great honor.

2 cents

I think this PGA Tournament actually generated a bunch of Drama. Tiger and his run at 62. Ernie Els finish and of coarse Woody (who) Austins play down the stretch, less the 18th.

Nobody was going to catch Tiger on this day. Even though the lead was cut to one for a short time.

Tiger will sometime in the next 3 or 4 years if not sooner catch and pass Jack. He still has to do it though. Jack is still king in my view until Tiger actually catches and then passes Jack.
