wrong score at Wagga Wagga

Postby punchshot on Mon Jun 25, 2007 10:16 am

I played one round at Wagga Wagga, and somehow managed to score 58 points. I checked out my scorecard on the home page and it is wrong. It shows a double eagle on one par five which never happened....many other holes are posted wrong also.

Wagga is using Spanish Stableford.

For anyone unaware of Spanish Stableford Rules:

Same scoring as British Stableford, but with two "Joker" holes were the points made on the hole are doubled. Before you tee off, each golfer declares two joker holes - one on the front nine and one on the back nine. (although in this case the tour admin sets the joker holes for each round).

British Stableford scoring is:

Eagle = 4 pts
Biride = 3 pts
Par = 2 pts
Bogey = 1 pt
Dbl Bogey + = 0 pts

Fun in real life, the choice of Joker holes prior to tee off requires a lot of thought.
