The Open event for this week.

Postby Harpo on Sun Jul 20, 2025 5:05 pm

Doug (GoesForIt) has made an event for the Open in the Arcade section. This will count for the FedEx Cup points if we can fill the field with 10 or more finishers. If you don't have the Arcade checked in the "Event List Options" then you will not see it. Hope to see you there. The event will only last till Wed. as usual so finish those rounds if you want to play. It is labeled as "The Open Championship".

Sorry for the mix up as Doug has made the Pro event with Challenge conditions. I see Echoes has finished one round already and am sure he noticed it before he started. I didn't and smashed my first putt way to hard. Finish this event if you want.

Beware of hole 10 especially in rounds 2 and 3. That pin is a real Mothe (watch your mouth) r.

Also beware of Hole 16 in round 1. A long Par 3 which I managed to get the tee shot to 7 feet with a 3 wood, but still came away with a 10 because of the position of the pin

Certainly, no luck with Links right now.
The open : Royal Portrush Dunluce, hole 8 (part 4) :
crash, recovery, and "Please wait while links prepares for the next hole" and crash again, This time without recovery.

I'm going to walk a little in the wind (I'm on the French Atlantic coast), it will do me the greatest good ...

I'm so sorry. It's all really been my fault 1) I forgot to tell Mark that the Scottish and ISCO were to run the same week.

I cannot get in contact with Mark to try to straighten things out. The course I selected is as stark as the IRL course, but it's not really well done.

Just a mess that I can't get out of right now. And somehow the course ID and Key are not working for Royal Portrush.

Again, my apologies.

No worries, Doug. You already do a lot. It's not so serious and it's just a game. And my old PC is generally the first responsible for my crashes that end up demolishing my patience.
I finally started again with 2 penalty points and I was able to cursed hole number 16 where I achieved a superb triple bogey
