Odd...my logs show a correct response to the game where it shouldn't have given an error. I wonder...how long did it take before you saw the error? Was it immediate or did it take a little while? I'm wondering if it's timing out before getting the response.

If it is timing out, try going into the conneciton settings inside the game and increase the timeout settings to 90 seconds.

for me, there's usually about a 15 second wait until i get the 'stats could not be submitted' thing. nowhere near the 60 second setting. but i've upped the timeout to 90 nonetheless.

Ok, I just found a problem in my logic that was not the same as the original Links Tour stuff. It explains both the duplicate round 4s and the errors when submitting a round.

I changed the logic so it matches now. That should do the trick but I haven't actually played a round with the new stuff yet. Let me know if you run into problems. I'm off to play a few rounds.

Thanks gibby. Did you just play all 4 rounds, or just round 4 since I posted that?

Ok, I just played 4 rounds and all stats submitted ok. I played online, however, I played with 9 hole rounds. Does anyone know if you need to play 18 hole rounds to see this problem?

Ok, prior to my recent changes any rounds played before that time could have left your entry in a crappy state causing the error on round 4. So, it may be that only new rounds played from here on out would be ok.

I'm not 100% certain this is fixed just yet. We'll see.

Hey, one more question. Were you playing 9 hole rounds or 18 hole rounds when you get the error?

Well, what's the verdict? I was not able to reproduce the problem. Has anyone who was experiencing this problem had good luck since the changes?

played round 4 this AM (A Martini or 7). After 18, said stats could not be submitted. Left the game then came right back, and it submitted just fine. (of course it could have been my finish, and the game was feeling sorry for me)

i only started a new tour last nite, but before i played Rd 1 was asked if i wanted to submit prior round. in the past this only met with a loop that continued to ask the same question when i had answered 'yes'...
cancelling offtered the same question, no of course was the 'out'.

but last nite it accepted the score!

i'll report back when i play the 4th round :)
