Well I practiced on this course (practice mode, driving only). When I set the course up, I concentrated on hole placement and that is one reason why the last round is M/M and/or M(C)/M(C).

In practicing off the tee, I find the course to be really tricked up... or tricky depending on your POV... and I'll be interested to see how many hit the fairway on a number holes, especially #1. Many of the fairways have ridge/slopes that kick seeminly perfect shots right into the rough. Sometimes you shorten up like with a 3-metal and still, the down slope takes the ball right to the rough.

I can promise you this will be the last year for Apple Ridge Country Club 1966 - 2015 for the Truist, even if it is a perfect rendition of the IRL course.

Well, that wasn't so bad as I thought... given an Ace on #3 and 4 chip-ins.

I see the 3 of us that has started all parred the 17th. I can almost bet all of us went just off the back of the green with that pin placement after hitting a long iron into it.

I somehow managed to birdie it in Round #2. I believe I chipped in from just over the green.

Just guessing, but I'll bet I chip-in more shots from 10-20 than putts from 10-20 feet. I've had the yips for several months. You know you've got the yips when you miss 5-10 footers, but make the 5-15 footer coming back.

Actually, this is a much better course that I first thought. You just have to think off the tee.

Holding the Guinness World record for "worst putter ever", I never, ever try to make putts or pin positions unfair. Sometimes, the APCD author simply makes it unavoidable.

Just said a little testy not unfair. We all have to play the same pins. First time I ever had to play C/C with s/s greens. Most of my putts were uphill with just a tad of break. Some bad bounces sometime work out good.
