Was just wondering if anyone here plays on the Kiss Tours site. Right now when I attempt to go there a different site pops up. Don't know if they didn't pay their domain bill or if the site was hijacked.
Anyone else seeing this?

Steve

Looks like they are a defunct organization.

I was there earlier today and won the PGA Pro there this weekend. I suspect a hijacking!

Not at all Bruce.

The registry company for our domain name is out of business/under lawsuit and many of their domain names that was to be auto renewed were not.

We should be up and running again as soon as the persons responsible for the names during the lawsuit versifies that we are the true owners and then we can get control back for the name.

I play there regularly. Works fine for me.

Make sure to put the "s" on tours. kisstour.com will take you somewhere else.

I checked out their DNS records and it looks like the domain name expired yesterday. I sent an email to Jerry Garlisch. Hopefully it will get taken care of soon.

Try it again Mike and I think you will see it is down. If you do see it, try a refresh to force a reload. You might be seeing a stashed copy from your browser.

The site is still down but closer to getting back up.

What a pain in the a** it is....

Read those links and you will understand fully why Chris has been handcuffed as soon as the bad things started happening

Just hang on to them Bill.

Sorry for not addressing this before but we have been discussing it via email between the administrators.

Right now, if we can do it (our programmer says it should be possible but we will not know for sure until the site is up for us to try) we are planning to Immediately Open the new Events that were supposed to start on Monday the 14th when we are back up and running and leave the old ones open for a few days at least for players to get the scores uploaded to them before we close them.

It may be hectic for a bit and our players will need to be sure which Event they are uploading scores to but we run a full 25 Event yearly schedule and do not have extra days in the Season to just extend the current event and add days to the end of the Season year.
