Read the Fine Print

Went to play round 1 of the "Honda Classic", striped the ball on the first tee (5 wood for safety), hit it to 3.7 feet, then leave the birdie putt short with my normal distance snap that should go 6-7 feet.
In retrospect, I should have thought it suspicious that there was only 1 player participating by Friday night. Bailed after 1 hole and then went to the appropriate (CHAL) event.
