This course has more roll just off the green and just off the fairway than any other course. Maddening.

Can't score if you can't hit the fairway with that deep rough. I have the worse fairway percentage for the first two rounds. My snap was bad. I am thinking last place this week. M/F conditions is my worse and with my fairway hits, that last round could be in the 80's.

Always a tough course to score well in any conditions. Hope I get the chance to play but it’s looking unlikely as I can’t get Links to load on my wind up pc/monitor ☹️

A couple of bad tee shots cost me on holes 9 and 12 in Round 3. Then came hole 14. Not even the real pros can back up a 5-iron! No loft change---just lucky with the snap and reading the wind.

Cheers,

Ronnie

DirkPitt, happen to log on while you were playing your last round C/C. Saw that you were playing good and you passed Ron and I on the leaderboard. Looked back later and wow, a 10 on #12. You must have run into some rough off the tee and a few missed putts.

Yes Jim, a missed snap on the drive off the tee and wound up in a group of trees that had me in jail. Tried chipping, punching, flopping which all ended bouncing off a tree to OB behind me. Should have restarted but I don't like doing that.
